» First Night in California

After we were picked up by our family from the airport, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Irvine for some food while our parents went home. We were hungry since we didn't have much to eat all day today. We shared jalapeno poppers as well as salt & vinegar and parmesan garlic wings

By the time we finished eating, it was at least 2 or 3 am. We headed back to Johnny's apartment, which wasn't too far away, and went straight to bed. 

» Las Vegas to Los Angeles

Finally on the plane to LA! But as the plane was on the runway preparing for takeoff, an argument occurred between a drunk man and a group of guys. So the plane had to turn back to the gate and the drunk man was escorted off the plane, all of which took 20 mins. Lots of delays today but we eventually made it back to the runway again and took off! California, here we come! 

After a long day of traveling, we finally landed at LAX. We were tired but so excited to see everybody that was waiting for us at the airport: Bac Nam, Bac Hoa, Johnny, Tony, Hai and Jon!

» Las Vegas Airport

When we arrived in Las Vegas, we still had about an hour until we had to board our next flight to Los Angeles. Since there were so many slot machines in the airport, my mom and I decided to try our luck at the slots. Even though we didn't hit the jackpot, we won $70!
